Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in TV and film is most well-known for her roles in films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra began her career in showbiz at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in television dramas as early as 16 years old. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like that of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially popular Oscar nominated historical war drama film Downfall.
